Description

Features

  • Value-focused system design: Provides the core control, circulation, air-management, and expansion components needed for residential radiant heating without paying for an integrated system-fill assembly.
  • Azel iLink zone control: Coordinates thermostat calls and zone circulators through a straightforward, dependable control platform.
  • Professionally preassembled: Major panel components are mounted and piped before shipment, minimizing field assembly and eliminating panel-side soldering.
  • Independent zone circulation: Includes 4 dedicated circulation pumps for individual temperature control and balanced heat delivery.
  • Installer-configured fill and safety components: The automatic fill, backflow-prevention, and blow-off assembly is supplied separately when required by the system design or local code.
  • Pressure tested before shipment: Each completed panel is tested as part of FloorHeat’s quality-control process.
  • Glycol compatible: Designed for properly configured glycol or non-glycol hydronic systems.
  • Compact wall-mounted design: Organizes key system components on a 32.5-inch-wide by 44-inch-tall steel backplate.
  • S.-based technical support: FloorHeat can assist with system planning, layout questions, and installation guidance.

Simplify a residential radiant heating installation with the FloorHeat Essential Series 4-zone Hydronic Radiant Heat Distribution and Control Panel. Designed and professionally assembled in Lansing, Michigan, this panel consolidates the core circulation, air-management, expansion, and control components of a hydronic radiant system into one organized wall-mounted assembly.

The Essential Series uses the same proven general panel layout as FloorHeat’s other preassembled control panels while focusing on the components most customers need. An Azel iLink relay coordinates the heating zones, and the organized copper-piping layout keeps important service points visible and accessible for system monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

This 4-zone model uses 4 dedicated circulation pumps so each heating zone can operate independently when connected to the appropriate thermostats, manifolds, heat source, and controls. The panel supports 1/2-inch and 5/8-inch PEX distribution systems. With properly selected manifolds and system design, each zone can support up to 10 loops of 1/2-inch PEX at lengths up to 300 feet per loop, or up to 8 loops of 5/8-inch PEX at lengths up to 400 feet per loop.

To provide a lower-priced panel option, the Essential Series does not include the integrated automatic fill, backflow-prevention, and blow-off assembly found on higher-tier FloorHeat panels. These functions can be provided separately when required for the selected heat source, system design, or local code. Because the panel arrives preassembled and pressure tested, field work is reduced primarily to mounting the panel; connecting the heat source, supply and return piping, manifolds, required fill and safety components, and electrical controls; and commissioning the system.
